Delivered Ex Ship (DES)
Also known as: DES Incoterm, Delivered ex ship, DES delivery
An obsolete Incoterm under which the seller delivered goods on board the vessel at the destination port.
DES was removed from Incoterms after 2010 and should not be used in new contracts. It has been replaced by DAP or DDP depending on delivery responsibilities.
