Bill of Sight
Also known as: bill of sight entry, sight entry
A provisional customs entry used when an importer does not yet have full information about the imported goods.
A Bill of Sight allows goods to be temporarily entered so they can be examined to obtain missing details such as value, quantity, or classification. It enables controlled release while a complete and proper customs entry is prepared.
