Weather Working Day (WWD)
Also known as: weather working day, working weather day
A day in which cargo operations count as laytime only when weather conditions permit work.
Weather Working Day is a laytime qualification used in charter parties. Time lost due to adverse weather does not count against laytime. It is common in bulk and tramp shipping contracts.
