Liner-In Free-Out (LIFO)
Also known as: liner in free out, lifo terms
A transport condition where loading costs are included in the freight rate but discharging costs are excluded.
LIFO terms allocate port cost responsibilities between carrier and charterer. They are commonly referenced in charter parties and bulk shipping contracts.
