Spoke

Also known as: hub spoke, spoke leg

The transport stretch between a hub and one of the consignees or consignors served by that hub.

In hub-and-spoke logistics networks, a spoke represents the feeder leg connecting the central hub to outlying origins or destinations. Spokes enable consolidation, efficient routing, and cost control by channeling flows through a central node.
