Certified Entry
Also known as: certified customs entry
A customs entry used when duties have already been paid or when goods qualify for special re-entry conditions.
Certified entries apply to situations such as re-imported goods, short-shipped cargo, or goods sent abroad for repair. The entry is cross-referenced to an earlier declaration and usually requires a sworn importer statement.
