Best Offer (BOFFER)

Also known as: best offer, boffer, final offer, best commercial offer

The most favorable commercial proposal a party is willing to make during negotiations, usually representing its final or most competitive price and terms.

A best offer is typically submitted after negotiations have progressed and indicates the lowest price or most favorable terms a seller, carrier, or service provider is prepared to accept. In shipping and chartering, it may include freight rates, laycan, payment terms, and other commercial conditions. While a best offer demonstrates serious intent to conclude a deal, it is not binding until both parties formally accept and execute the agreement.
